What should I wear?
The dress code is “Colorful Cocktail Attire” – please click here for a more detailed description!
What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?
High heels won’t be worth the trouble this time – our venue includes a grassy hill, a sandy beach, a woodsy trail, and a rowdy dance floor! Comfortable/stable shoes are recommended!
Short or long dresses?
Many of the festivities will be outdoors (assuming the weather cooperates) and at different locations on the wooded hillside property at Arrow Park, so dress accordingly. You may want to bring a coat, sweater, or other wrap for the pre-dinner outdoor festivities. Again, it will depend on the weather, but the venue and vibe isn’t black tie with sequins and trains.
Suits, collared shirts, and ties?
Jackets and ties are recommended.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and dancing are outdoors, and the seated dinner is indoors.
What will the weather be like?
We’re hoping for a warm, sunny day, but late fall in the Hudson Valley can be unpredictable. We recommend you check the weather (we certainly will be) and bring outerwear to keep you warm if it’s on the colder side. If the weather is inclement, the event will move indoors.
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
We have an amazing team of professional photographers joining us for the wedding, so we ask that you put away phones during the ceremony, and join us in the special moment!
What’s the best way to get to the wedding venue from the Orange Inn, the Fairfield Inn, or my AirBnB? Can I drive to Arrow Park?
On the day of the wedding, catch a shuttle bus from the Orange Inn or Fairfield Inn to the venue, and it will return you to your stay at the end of the night! We’re working on a central location to accommodate guests staying at AirBnBs. If you decide to drive yourself, there’s ample parking at Arrow Park.
How long does it take to drive from Goshen to Arrow Park?
It’s a 30-minute drive, but leave 40 minutes to drive, park, and arrive in time. We wouldn’t want you to miss any of the fun!
